Precyse: Leading "The Internet of Things"
Description: Precyse is driving the global adoption of asset networks and the "Internet of Things" with a new breed of wireless asset network solutions that are intelligent, reliable and secure. The Precyse asset networks are based on its "N3" patented, bi-directional asset network technology, optimized for long battery life.
Products: The Precyse solution features the iLocate™ product suite providing real-time services to automatically identify, locate and monitor the status of physical assets. iLocate™ is based on the Precyse N3 wireless infrastructure technology, which connects assets such as engine parts, returnable containers, personnel and even full sized tractors on a wireless asset network, giving them the ability to communicate location and status information to users or other machines.
Accomplishments: Precyse was awarded the Technology Innovation of the Year Award by Frost & Sullivan in 2010 for its N3 asset network standard in the Real-Time Location Systems category. "Issues such as uncertainty regarding standards, high capital costs and system integration problems have been challenging customers looking at implementing Real-Time Locating Systems (RTLS) technologies," said Neelima Sagar, Frost & Sullivan's head analyst for the RFID industry. "Precyse Technologies strived to overcome these challenges through the introduction of a bi-directional, wireless asset network technology. The company has successfully addressed challenges like price, wireless security and integration issues by incorporating its wireless standard, N3, into all its product lines," Sager added.
Founders: Rom Eizenberg and Michael Braiman co-founded the Company in 2008.
Financing: Spencer Trask Ventures has led $11.4 million in financings in 2009 and 2010.
